Closed User Group (CUG)

Menu 8-5

This network service allows incoming and outgoing calls to be restricted to a selected user group. You may be a member of any of 10 user groups.

For details on how to create, activate and use a closed user group, contact your service provider.

Example: A company lends SIM cards to its employees and wants to restrict outgoing calls to members of the same team.

CUG Select: allows you to select a group. The Default option allows you to select a user group on which you have agreed with the service provider. If you select the Not CUG option, the CUG feature is deactivated.

User Define CUG: The list of current CUGs is displayed. The Add, Edit, Delete and Delete All options are available.

If the CUGlist has 10 items, the Add option is not available. If the CUG list is empty, the Edit, Delete and Delete All options are not available. You can select this CUGlist via the CUG Select option.

Note: You may communicate a default CUG to your service provider. If you have done so, you can enable the Default option on your phone. When making a call, you will be given the option of using your default CUG, instead of selecting one from the list.
