3.Loosenandunscrewthemainpivotboltsixorseventurns.Tapontheheadoftheboltwithaplastichammertopush outthelefthandpivotaxle.

4.Removethepivotaxleboltandthreaditintothelefthandpivotaxle.Usethebolttopulltheaxleout.

5.Gentlytaptheright-handpivotaxleoutfromtheinsidewithasocketheaddriverorsmalltap.

6.Removetheswingarmfromthepivot,takingcarenottolosethefourquadrings.

7.Thoroughlycleanallpartsandinspectforwearordamage.Replacepartsasnecessary.

PIvot Lubrication

8.LiberallygreaseallnylonbearingsandquadringswithK2Gooorotherwaterproof,Teflon-fortifiedgrease.

9.Placequadringsbackintorecessedgroovesoninsideandoutsideofeachswingarmknuckle.

10.Reinstallswingarmandpivotaxles.Torquemainpivotboltto175in-lbs.Makesurethatpivotaxlesarepressinginto themainpivothole.
