Selecting the Sound Modes

You can select one of the 6 preset sound modes (3 surround modes and 3 sound modes).

To select the sound modes, press SOUND MODE repeatedly until the desired sound mode appears on the display.

¥The S. MODE indicator also lights up.

¥Once you press SOUND MODE, the current sound mode appears on the display.

Each time you press the button, the sound modes change as follows:

ROCK POP CLASSIC

:

Boosts low and high frequency. Good for

 

 

 

acoustic music.

POP

:

Good for vocal music.

CLASSIC :

Good for classical music.

OFF

:

Cancels the sound mode.

To select the surround modes, press SURROUND MODE repeatedly until the desired surround mode appears on the display.

¥ The SURR. indicator also lights up.

¥Once you press SURROUND MODE, the current surround mode appears on the display.

Each time you press the button, the surround modes change as follows:

DANCE HALL STADIUM

:

Increases resonance and bass.

HALL

:

Adds depth and brilliance to the sound.

STADIUM:

Adds clarity and spreads the sound, like in an

 

 

 

outdoor stadium.

OFF

:

Cancels the surround mode.

Only one of the sound modes or surround modes can be selected at a time.

Turning On or Off the Key-touch Tone (BEEP)

If you do not want the key-touch tone to beep each time you press a button or turn a control, you can deactivate it.

Press and hold BEEP for more than 2 seconds.

When using the remote control, press BEEP.

¥Each time you press the button, the key-touch tone turns on and off alternately.
