Adjustable Base:
14.Make sure the safety seat/base is not tilted sideways on the vehicle seat. Check the level indicator. You must look straight on at the indicator.
!If the indicator shows ONLY blue, the safety seat is properly leveled.
!If any orange is showing in the level indicator, the safety seat is either too upright or too reclined. To correct the problem, first note the degree of correction needed, then follow the instructions below:
Loosen the base by releasing the seat | Ê |

If the safety seat is too upright, turn the knob clockwise to increase the recline Ê. If you still need more recline after the adjustment foot is completely extended, place rolled towels under foot until indicator shows ONLY blue.
