7.See step 3. Firmly tighten the 1” Bolts (8).
Lower the Handrails (not shown) to the floor as shown.
Make sure that the Frame (75) is centered between the Handrails. Firmly tighten the 5/16” x 3” Bolts (123). Raise the Handrails to the vertical position.
8.Open part bag D. Attach the Storage Latch (14) to the Left Upright (9) with two 3/4” Screws (13). Remove the Latch Knob (106) from the Latch Pin (110). Make sure that the Latch Pin Collar (108) and the Spring (107) are on the Latch Pin as shown. Insert the Latch Pin into the Storage Latch (14) and tighten the Latch Knob onto the Latch Pin.
9.Attach the Left Upper Body Arm (113) to the Left Upright
(9) with two 1/4” x 3” Bolts (102), two 1/4” Washers (39), and two 1/4” Star Washers (111) as shown. See drawing 9a. Make sure the upperbody Arms (9, 114) are on the side of the Crossbar (34) shown. Attach the Right Upper Body Arm to the Right Upright (not shown) as described above.
Firmly tighten all of the bolts and screws used in as- sembly steps 3 through 7.

10.Make sure that all parts are properly tightened before you use the treadmill. Note: Extra hardware may be included. Keep the included allen wrenches in a secure place. The large allen wrench is used to adjust the walking belt (see page 16). To protect the floor or carpet, place a mat under the treadmill.
