MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Inspect and tighten all parts of the elliptical crosstrainer regularly. Replace any worn parts immediately.
For smooth opera- |

tion of the elliptical |
|
crosstrainer, clean |
|
the ramp regularly |
|
using a soft cloth |

and a small amount | Ramp |
of mild detergent. | |
Other parts of the |
|
elliptical crosstrainer |
|
can be cleaned in |
|
the same way. Keep
liquids away from the console. Never use abra- sives or solvents.

and carefully | Wheel | |
move the ellipti- | ||
| ||
cal crosstrainer |
| |
to the desired |
| |
location. Then, |
|
place one foot against the ramp and lower the ellipti- cal crosstrainer. Due to the size and weight of the elliptical crosstrainer, use extreme caution while moving and lowering it.
HOW TO LEVEL THE ELLIPTICAL CROSSTRAINER
After the elliptical crosstrainer has been moved, make sure that the ends
of both stabilizers are touching the floor. If the elliptical crosstrainer rocks
slightly during use, turn one or both of
the leveling feet
under the front stabilizer until the rocking motion is eliminated.
HANDGRIP PULSE SENSOR TROUBLESHOOTING
If there are sheets of clear plastic on the metal con- tacts on the handgrip pulse sensor, peel off the plas- tic. For optimal performance of the handgrip pulse sensor, keep the metal contacts clean using a soft cloth and a small amount of mild detergent. Never use alcohol, abrasives, or chemicals.
Avoid moving your hands or squeezing the handgrip pulse sensor too tightly. Excessive movement or pres- sure may interfere with heart rate readings. For the most accurate heart rate reading, hold the metal con- tacts for about 30 seconds.
