Setting the Dynamic Compression

You can compress the dynamic range (difference between the maximum and minimum sound levels) while playing a source encoded with Dolby Digital. This is useful when listening at a low volume level.

To go back to the previous screen during the procedure, press RETURN.

Setting the Audio Output during 2X Speed Search

You can turn on or off the sound during 2X Speed Search on a DVD.

Regardless of this setting, sound always comes out during 2X Speed Search on a CD.

To go back to the previous screen during the procedure, press RETURN.
