Operating Instructions

When the additional rinse function is selected, the RINSE+ indicator on the program progress display illuminates prior to program start and during the additional rinse.

4.If you wish to check whether the additional rinse function is selected:

Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN.

Press the SOAKING button briefly.

If RINSE+ flashes on the program progress display, the additional rinse function is set.

Disabling the Additional Rinse Function:

0 1. Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN.

2.Press the SOAKING button for at least 5 seconds.

As soon as the button is pressed RINSE+ flashes on the program progress display. After 5 seconds RINSE+ ceases to flash and illumi- nates continuously for a further 5 seconds.

3.Whilst RINSE+ is continuously illuminated, release the SOAKING

button.

Once RINSE+ has ceased to illuminate, the additional rinse function is disabled.

Wash-Water Cooling

3The water is cooled prior to pumping out at the end of the main wash (by adding cold water). This setting is only effective for COTTON/LINEN at a temperature of over 40° C.)

Wash-water cooling is not selected upon delivery from the factory.

Select Wash-Water Cooling:

0 1. Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN.

2.Press the PRE WASH button for at least 5 seconds.

After the button has been kept pressed for 5 seconds, MAINWASH flashes on the program progress display for 5 seconds.

3.Whilst MAINWASH is flashing, release the PRE WASH button.

After blinking has stopped, wash-water cooling is selected. It remains functional until it is deleted.

4.If you want to check and see if wash-water cooling has been selected:

Turn the program selector to SHORT SPIN.

Press the PRE WASH button briefly.

If MAINWASH flashes on the program progress display, the wash-water cooling function is set.
