Washer care

,Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power supply by un- plugging the unit or manually "trip- ping" the circuit breaker.

Cleaning the washer

^Clean the exterior of the washer with a mild solution of non-abrasive deter- gent or soap and water, and wipe dry with a soft cloth.

^Clean the drum with a stainless steel cleaner specially formulated for use in a washer, available from Miele’s Technical Service Department

part # 00 077 927.

^Clean the dispenser compartments and the fabric softener duct.

Cleaning the detergent drawer

Detergent residue should be cleaned out regularly.

^Pull out the detergent drawer until it stops. Press down on the red release lever and pull the drawer out of the machine.

^Remove the siphon tube from the compartment § and rinse under warm water.

,Do not use chemical solvents, abrasive cleaners, glass or all pur- pose cleaners!

These can damage plastic surfaces and other parts. Do not use a hose to clean off the washer.
