Manufacturers’ codes for VCR

2Press and hold VCR .

Keep it pressed up to step 5.

3Press VCR CONTROL.

4Press the number buttons (1–9, 0) to enter a manufacturer’s code (2 digit).

See the list below to find the code.

Ex.: For a Philips VCR, press 0, then 9.

For a NEC VCR, press 2, then 5.

5Release VCR .

6Try to operate your VCR by pressing

VCR .

When your VCR turns on or off, you have entered the correct code.

If more than one cord is listed for your brand of VCR, try each one until you enter the correct one.

After setting transmittable signals, you can use the following buttons for the VCR operations.

VCR	:Turns the VCR on and off.
After pressing VCR CONTROL:
PLAY	:Starts playback.
STOP	:Stops operation.
PAUSE	:Pauses playback.

¡:Fast forwards a video tape.

1:Rewinds a video tape.

÷ REC :Starts recording by pressing with PLAY. Pauses recording by pressing with PAUSE.

CHANNEL +/–:Changes the TV channels on the VCR.
