!CAUTION

When steaming clothes using the Garment Valet, hold the steam head in a vertical, upright position. Hold the steam head vents away from you and steam in a vertical up and down motion. This will allow the condensation in the hose to flow back into the steamer.

16)Press the Power Button to turn the unit on. Hold the steam head up and facing away from you for the 40 seconds it takes to heat up. Once you see that a steady steam vapor is emitted from the steam head, the Steam Station is ready to use.

17)Hold the wand of the steam head firmly and slowly move it across the surface to be sanitized. Always keep the steam head positioned with the steam jets pointing away from you and horizontal to the surface. (Fig 12)

18)When there is no more water in the tank, the Water Refill indicator light will light up. Return the unit to the Garment Valet and rest the wand in the resting prongs of the hanger. Turn the Steam Stationoff and unplug the unit. Refill the tank as directed in Step 5, plug the unit in and continue steaming as before.

19)When you have finished using the Steam Station, turn the Power Button to the OFF position and unplug the unit. If you will not be using the unit again soon, be sure to drain all the remaining water from the tank by opening the Excess Water Removal Valve and emptying the excess water into a sink. The base of the canister is designed to allow the cord to wrap around the base for storage. (Fig 13)

Crease Tool and extra Clip:

The Crease Tool attaches to the steam head for perfect creases or crisp shirt cuffs and collars. Just clip it to the tab on the underside of the steam head. Place the garment between the steam head and the open Crease Tool, close to hold the crease firmly while steaming it to set. (Fig 14)
