*in wash water temperatures colder than 70°F (210C), detergents do not dissolve well. Also, soils may be difficult to remove and some fabrics may retain wear wrinkles and have increased pilling - the formation of small lint-like balls on the surface of garments. Piliing is the natural result of wearing and washing of garments.
