Press and hold TP/ANNOUNCE for more than 1 second to activate

Announcement Standby Reception.

 

The ANNOUNCE indicator lights up (as follows).

While listening to a service supporting Announcement signals, the

ANNOUNCE indicator lights up with its frame. This receiver now stands by for Announcement signal reception.

While listening to a service NOT supporting Announcement signals,

the ANNOUNCE indicator lights up without its frame.

In this case, Announcement Standby Reception does not work.

If you press the button while listening to any other source

– The ANNOUNCE indicator comes to light up with its frame when a service supporting Announcement signal is tuned in the background. This receiver now stands by for the Announcement signal reception.

– The ANNOUNCE indicator keeps lit without its frame when a service supporting Announcement signal is NOT tuned in the background. In this case, this receiver cannot stand by for Announcement signal reception.

How Announcement Standby Reception works:

If a service of the selected Announcement type starts broadcasting while the Announcement Standby Reception is activated, the selected Announcement type name appears and the unit tunes into the service. The service of the selected Announcement type can be heard.

To deactivate Announcement Standby Reception, press and hold TP/ANNOUNCE again. Each time you press and hold the button for more than 1 second, Announcement Standby Reception turns on and off.
