Adjusting Dynamic Range Control (DRC) effect

In a noisy environment such as in a car, listening condition and sound quality can be improved by reducing the dynamic range of the DAB audio signal. For this purpose, some service provides Dynamic Range Control signals together with their regular program signals.

This unit can use this Dynamic Range Control signals to reduce the dynamic range and obtain the best possible listening condition and sound quality. When shipped from the factory, “DRC Off” is selected.
