Understanding display messages

Below is a list of messages you’ll see during normal operation with a brief explanation of what they mean. If you need more information, turn to the page indicated.

NEW DISC

SET UP

The unit is setting up for recording. Wait for the message to disappear.

 

 

 

 

TOC READ

The recorder is reading the disc’ s TOC (Table of Contents). Wait for the

 

 

message to disappear.

 

SYNCÐ1

The unit is in 1-track synchro recording mode. Recording starts when the

recorder detects a source input signal.

 

SYNCÐALL

The unit is in all-track synchro recording mode. Recording starts when the

MONITOR

The recorder is monitoring the input selected with the INPUT button.
