Note:
•Up to 100 words may be displayed in the list.
If the list of words does not appear as expected:
•Searching for words with particular spellings may take more time to complete than others.
•If no word is given, a message ‘Nicht gefunden!’ will momentarily be displayed, followed by the input screen of the spellcheck function. In this case you may wish to start the search again with a new spelling for the word.
Note:
•If you are not sure which is the correct spelling of a word, the place holder search with ‘?’ in the menu ‘Kreuzworträtsel lösen’ will help. Refer to pages 18 and 19.
•There are only found words that are included as keywords in each dictionary.

With these functions you can train vocabulary with effortless ease, or become word game king.
Crossword solver (Kreuzworträtsel lösen)
Use a wildcard character ‘?’ to search for words with ambiguous spellings. Place the appropriate number of ‘?’ characters in the places of characters yet to be determined. Press the ‘?’You can find a second function of the M button.
<Example>
Find a matching word for a query ‘??ok’.
1.Press Tto open Langenscheidt
2.Press }three times to place the cursor at the ‘Buchstabenrätsel’, then press E. The solver menu appears.
3.Press 1. The Crossword solver’s input screen appears.
4.Type ‘??ok’ into the input field. Press ^? twice to enter ‘??’. (note: press ^and ? keys successively, not at the same time!)
