ES/NET REC

ES 1 Color Curve

Selects echo level versus presentation color

 

 

curve for echo sounder 1.

 

 

Linear: Weak echoes are not as conspicuous as

 

 

in log setting. Useful for eliminating

 

 

weak echoes.

 

 

Log: Weak echoes are painted in "stronger"

 

 

colors. The higher the setting the easier

 

 

are weaker echoes to see on the display.

 

 

 

 

ES 2 Color Curve

Same as above except for echo sounder 2.

 

 

 

 

Picture Advance

Sets picture advance speed for the echo

 

 

sounder display.

 

 

 

 

Advance at Shoot

Chooses "Sonde" to have ship's speed

 

 

dependent advance of echo sounder picture

 

 

while shooting net and "KP" to have advance

 

 

synchronized with transmission.

 

 

 

 

Net Rec Picture

Selects net recorder picture display mode;

 

 

up/down or down sounding.

 

 

 

HIST DISPLAY

H-Slice Width

Selects width for sampling echoes along upper

 

 

half of range marker in horizontal slice

 

 

display. The higher the setting the wider the

 

 

sampling area.

 

 

 

 

PRT/STBD Sample

Sets angle from ship's bow for sampling

 

 

echoes in PRT/STBD display.

 

 

 

INTERLOCK

Tilt, Range

You can interlock these items with respective

 

Event Mark

items on sonar connected to the CSH-23F/24F.

 

Fish Mark

If you interlock the range, for example,

 

Net Shoot Mark

anytime the range is changed on the CSH-23F/

 

Target Lock

24F it is automatically changed on the sonar

 

 

connected and vice versa.

 

 

 

DEFAULTS

Defaults

Press MENU key to clear all user, data set and

 

 

system menus settings and restore default

 

 

settings on all system menus.
