INIT SET/TEST Menu Description

The INIT SET/TEST menu can be displayed by pressing MENU and ON together.

Heading Adjust

Sets deviation angle of HEAD mark on hull

 

 

unit from ship's bow. If deviation is 15° to

 

 

port, enter "15" (degrees); 15° to starboard,

 

 

enter "345."

 

 

 

BAUD RATE

I/F CS-120A

Set data transmission speed (baud) of ports.

 

Aux Port 1

Set to 2400 bps for I/F CS-120A.

 

Aux Port 2

 

 

Aux Port 3

 

 

NMEA

 

 

 

 

EXT KP

Ext KP Polarity

Choose positive or negative logic for keying

 

KP Out Polarity

pulse fed from external sonar or echo sounder,

 

 

to synchronize transmission.

Depth

Chooses unit of depth readout.

LANGUAGE

 

 

Dist for Shoot

Chooses unit of distance run readout for

 

 

 

shooting net; meters, feet, fathoms, or passi.

 

 

 

 

Temperature

Chooses unit of water temperature readout;

 

 

centigrade or fahrenheit.

 

 

 

 

Language

Chooses language used in menu; English,

 

 

Japanese, or Korean.

 

 

 

SELF TEST

Single

Performs display unit self test once.

 

 

 

 

Continuous

Performs display unit self test continuously.

 

 

 

 

Panel

Checks the keys of the display unit and remote

 

 

control box for proper operation.

 

 

 

 

Color

Checks for proper display of colors.

 

 

 

 

Gray

Checks for screen distortion with gray test.

 

 

 

 

SIO

Conducts communication test between the

 

 

display unit and transceiver unit. Requires a

 

 

test plug.
