11.Check that the new lubricated O-ring is in good condition. Put it in the right position on the battery compartment lid. Be very careful not to get any dirt on the o-ring or its sealing surfaces.

12.Carefully press the lid onto the battery compartment with your thumb, while making sure that the O-ring is not at any point protruding out on the edge.

13.Put your other thumb through the locking ring. Press this thumb firmly against the lid and release the other one. Make sure that the lid is pressed completely down!

14.Turn the locking ring counterclockwise with your free thumb and fingers until it snaps into its locked position.

15.The dive computer should now active its timekeeping mode and show time 18:00 [6:00 PM] and date SA 01,01. Activate the instrument. Check that

all display segments work.

the low battery warning is off.

the buzzer beeps and backlight works.

all the settings are correct. Reset if necessary.

Check after the first dives for possible moisture under the transparent

 

battery compartment lid, indicating a leak.

made in a proper manner to avoid any leakage of water into the
