3. DELETE

This menu can be used to delete songs and empty directories stored on a USB device.

Step1

Press the MENU and VALUE buttons to scroll through the list of ﬁ les and directories, then press the REC button to select the song or directory to be deleted.

A delete conﬁ rmation request will be shown in the LCD display.

Sure?

Yes≥REC No≥STOP

Press the PLAY/STOP button to cancel.

Step2

Press the REC button again to delete the recorded song from the USB device.

‘Executing...’ and then ‘Complete!’ will be shown in the LCD display.

4. SONG COPY

This menu can be used to copy a song to another ﬂ oppy disk (when using a USB ﬂ oppy disk drive), or to make a copy of a song on the same USB device.

Step1

Press the MENU and VALUE buttons to scroll through the list of ﬁ les and directories, then press the REC button to select the song to be copied.

‘Reading...’ will appear brieﬂ y, then a conﬁ rmation request will be shown in the LCD display.

When using a USB ﬂ oppy disk drive, eject the ﬂ oppy disk and insert another ﬂ oppy disk, in order to copy the song to another ﬂ oppy disk.

Step2

Press the MENU buttons to move the cursor, and the VALUE buttons to choose a character to name the recorded song, then press the REC button.

Step3

Press the MENU and VALUE buttons to scroll through the list of ﬁles and directories to select the destination for the song to be copied to.

Step4

Press the REC button to copy the recorded song the USB device.

‘Executing...’ and then ‘Complete!’ will be shown in the LCD display.

Copying a song to another device is only possible when both ‘USB_A’ and ‘USB_B’ devices are connected.
