3Rename

The Rename function allows song and audio files stored on a USB memory device to be renamed.

1. Selecting the Rename function

Enter the USB menu (page 76).

Press the e or f buttons to select the Rename function, then press the FUNCTION button.

2. Selecting the file to be renamed

5-3 Rename ≥Press[F]

	Press the c or d buttons to select the file to be renamed.
		Rename
	Press the FUNCTION button.

3. Renaming the file

Press the c or d buttons to cycle through the alphanumeric characters, and the e or f buttons to move the cursor.

Press the FUNCTION button.

A confirmation message will be shown in the LCD display, prompting to confirm the rename operation.

Press the e or f buttons to cancel or confirm the operation confirmation message will appear.

4. Exiting the Rename function

Press a SOUND SELECT button to exit the Rename function and return to normal operation.

Overwriting the file

If the specified name already exists:

A confirmation message will be shown in the LCD display,

Press the e or f buttons to cancel or confirm the operation.
