STANDBY/ON

Switches the receiver between on and standby.

2 STANDBY indicator

Lights when the receiver is in standby.

3 Remote sensor

Receives the signals from the remote control.

4ENTER button

5MULTI JOG/INPUT SELECTOR dial The MULTI JOG/INPUT SELECTOR dial performs a number of tasks. Use it to select options after pressing TONE CONTROL, QUICK SETUP or TUNER EDIT.

6MASTER VOLUME

7PHONES jack

Use to connect headphones. When the headphones are connected, there is no sound output from the speakers.

8STATION (+/–) buttons (pages 44–45) Selects station presets or characters for those presets when using the tuner.

9TUNING buttons (page 43)

Selects the frequency when using the tuner.

10LISTENING MODE buttons

STANDARD (pages 30, 32,33)

Press for Standard decoding and to switch between the various Pro Logic II options.

ADVANCED SURROUND (pages 31, 33) Use to switch between the various surround modes.

STEREO/DIRECT (pages 30, 33) Switches direct playback on or off. This bypasses the tone controls and channel levels for the most accurate reproduction of a source.
