Placing the speakers

To achieve the best possible surround sound, install your speakers as shown below.

If you have a complete THX speaker system, follow the diagram below to place your speakers. Note that the surround speakers ( indicates bi-polar radiating speakers) should output at an angle parallel to the listener.

recommends placing them together and the same distance from your listening position (see below).

If you have two surround back speakers THX

recommends placing them together and the same distance from your listening position for the following THX modes: THX Select2 CINEMA, THX Select2 MUSIC and THX Select2 GAMES.

If you are using a THX certified subwoofer use the THX INPUT jack on the subwoofer (if your subwoofer has one) or switch the filter position to THX on your subwoofer.
