2. Raise A to the vertical position.

2-1Raise A to the vertical position, with the keyboard side on the bottom, and hold A securely.

CAUTION

Do not release A until you finish Step 4.

CAUTION

Do not tip A further than 90 degrees to avoid stress to the key cover and lid.

3. Attach B.

3-1Align the holes on A with those on B and hold A and B together.

3-2Finger-tighten six short screws (6x20 mm) start- ing with the top hole.

3-3Tighten the screws securely.

4. Attach C.

4-1Hold C so that the notch on the bracket will face toward left, then align the holes on A with those on C.

4-2Finger-tighten four short screws (6x20 mm) start- ing with the top hole.

5. Assemble the pedal structure.

5-1Pass the pedal cord (that comes out from the rear of pedal box E) through a hole on the bracket of D, then pass it through the pipe.

5-2Align the holes on the bottom of E with the holes on the bracket of D, then attach E and D by tight- ening six small screws (4x6 mm). At this time, first tighten the two center screws, then tighten the rest of the screws.

5-3Pull the end of the pedal cord to eliminate any slack inside the bracket on D.

CAUTION

Hold E securely to avoid slippage.
