The Peavey 6505 +112 Combo is a powerful and revered amplifier in the world of rock and metal music. Known for its high gain and aggressive tone, this combo amp has become a staple for guitarists seeking both versatility and reliability. It delivers the renowned Peavey 6505 sound in a more portable package without sacrificing quality or performance.

At the heart of the 6505 +112 Combo is its all-tube design, powered by two 6L6GC power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. This arrangement produces an impressive 60 watts of power, allowing for an explosive sound that's ideal for live performances and studio recordings alike. The dynamic range and rich harmonic overtones are key to its popularity among heavy genres, providing a thick, saturated tone that can cut through any mix.

One significant feature of the 6505 +112 Combo is its dual-channel operation, comprising a clean channel and a lead channel. The clean channel offers a warm, articulate sound, suitable for a variety of styles, while the lead channel unleashes the amp's famous high-gain characteristics. Each channel is equipped with its own set of controls, including gain, bass, mid, treble, and reverb, allowing for extensive tonal shaping.

The amp also includes a built-in reverb effect, which adds depth and ambiance to the sound, enhancing overall playability. Another notable aspect is the presence and resonance controls, providing further customization over bass response and high-frequency harmonics. These features make the 6505 +112 Combo not only suitable for versatile genres but also for amplifying distinct personal tones.

Featuring a single 12-inch Sheffield speaker, the 6505 +112 Combo delivers a focused sound that excels in both projection and clarity. The sturdy construction ensures durability, making it the perfect companion for touring musicians. Additionally, its lightweight design compared to traditional amp stacks allows for easier transport without compromising sound quality.

Incorporating Peavey’s patented technology, the 6505 +112 Combo stands out with its reliability and performance consistency even under demanding conditions. Whether used for practice, recording, or live gigs, this amplifier offers an exceptional combination of power, tone, and versatility, solidifying its place in the hearts of guitarists around the world.
