To del€te a slep lrom a song, press and hold lhe DELETEbutton,and the display will read:

To completethe del€tion,the RECORDbuttonmustbe pressedwhilestill holding the DELETEbutton. This shifts all patlernsafter the bisplayedstep down on6 step. After all steps have b€€n deleted, the display will show step 1 being END (emptysong). The END step cannotbe deleted(RECORDwill be ignored).

Replaclng a slep / OFFSET Button

The OFFSETbutton is used lo replacethe currentlydisplayedstep'spatternor tempo with anolher patlen or tempo. lt is provided as a convenience,and essentiallydoes lhe same thing as DELETEfollowedby INSERT. Pressingand holdinglh€ OFFSETbulloncauseslhe followingdisplay:

While holdingthe OFFSETbutton,the keypadcan be usedto changethe pattern numberdisplayed. To completethe replacement,tho RECORDbutton must b€ pressedwhile still holdingthe OFFSET butlon. The displaywill read:

This displaywill remain until RECORDis released,alter which lhe displaywill revertlo lhe firsl REPLACEMENTdisplay. lf the step beingreplacedconlaineda t€mpo, th€ displaywill read TEM insteadof PATT. Whetherreplacinga pattern or a tempo,the TEMPObullon can be turnedon or off so as to changewhat lhe replacementwill be. When replacinga step, all other sleps remainunchanged, sincethe numberof stepsdoesnotchange.

Erasing an entire SONG

To erase an €ntire song, pressand hold the ERASEbutton. The displaywill read:

While holdingth€ ERASE button, if RECORDis pressed,tho song will bo erased, and the displaywill read:

SONGERASED

This displaywill remain until RECORDis released. In all of the above editing examples,no changeslo lhe song will occuruntil RECORDis pressed.
