Notes

7Charge the batteries fully before you use the appliance for the first time (for at least 12 hours). When the appliance is fully charged, the display E lights up green.

7The ambient temperature should be between 5 °C and 40 °C.

7After each further use, charging time is approx. 7 hours.

7In its fully charged state, the ap- pliance can operate for approx. 45 minutes. It is not advisable to charge the batteries after every use, especially if you do not use the appliance for the full 45 min- utes. Only charge the batteries when they are completely dis- charged. This increases their service life. Do not charge them every day.

Operating with the power supply unit

Check that the voltage indicated on the type plate of the power sup- ply unit corresponds to your local power supply.

The only way to disconnect the ap- pliance from the power supply is to unplug the power supply unit.

1Plug the power cord into the ap- pliance socket F and the power supply unit into the wall socket.

The appliance is now ready to operate.

Caution

7When in the bathroom or beside a water connection, only use the appliance in battery mode; never run it from the mains.
