Control Two JVC VCRs
The supplied remote control is capable of controlling two JVC VCRs independently using the A/B CODE switch. You can set this VCR so it responds to remote commands only when the switch is set to B, and another VCR so it responds to commands when the switch is set to A. The switch is preset to A because this VCR normally responds to

To set the VCR back to respond to A code signals, repeat the same procedure as shown above except setting the A/B CODE switch to A instead of B in step 2.
You can control two VCRs with the same remote control by switching the remote's code between A and B.
Child Lock
This feature allows you to prevent the operation of the VCR.
TURN VCR POWER ON
1 Press POWER.
ENGAGE CHILD LOCK
2 Press and hold POWER on the remote control until the Child Lock indicator
●Power turns OFF and the VCR cannot be turned on from the POWER button on the front panel.
●To cancel Child Lock, press and hold POWER on the remote to turn the VCR on. During timer recording, pressing TIMER also cancels Child Lock.
NOTES:
●When Child Lock is engaged, make sure to keep the remote control out of the reach of children.
●Timer recording of programs that were previously set can be performed while the Child Lock is engaged. The feature remains in effect after the recording is finished.
