VII. DISASSEMBLY

1.REMOVING THE SEAT

NOTE: Pinchless seat hinges are standard on all Golden Companion scooters.

1.Remove the key.

2.Make sure that the scooter brake is en- gaged.

3.Loosen the adjustment knobs. Slide the arms off the scooter if you are not able to carry the seat with the weight of the arm- rests attached. See figure 5.

4.Remove the seat by pulling up and hold- ing the seat lever and lifting the seat straight up and out of the seat post. See figure 14.

5.The seat can be folded for compact storing.

2.REMOVING THE REAR SHROUD

1.Pull up on the sides of the shroud.

2.Lift the shroud up and off the scooter. See figure 15.

3.REMOVING THE BATTERIES

1.After removing the shroud, loosen the Velcro™ straps from around each battery. See figure 16.
