CARING FOR YOUR

InDuo™ SYSTEM

Your InDuo™ System is a precision instrument. To ensure it works accurately and safely, please handle it with care.

Avoid situations where your InDuo™ component parts can be damaged.

Store your InDuo™ System in its carrying case after each use.

Always replace the meter cap after using your InDuo™ insulin doser.

Please read the package insert in the Penfill® carton. This will tell you how to store the Penfill® cartridges and how long to keep them.

With Penfill® inserted, the InDuo™ insulin doser can be stored for up to one month at room temperature (maximum 37°C, 98.6°F). Follow the guidelines on insulin storage supplied in the Penfill® package insert.

Do not refrigerate your InDuo™ System.

As no blood or control solution comes in contact with the meter, there is no special cleaning required.

Take care to avoid getting dirt, dust, blood, control solution, or water inside the InDuo™ meter through the test port or data port.

Clean off dirt and dust with a dry, soft brush or cloth.

A cloth dampened with water and mild detergent can be used to wipe down the outside of the meter.

Do not soak, wash, or lubricate your InDuo™ System. This will damage the mechanism.

Your InDuo™ System is a precision instrument and will be damaged if wiped with alcohol.
