How to replace the InDuo™ meter battery
• To replace the meter battery, make sure that the |

InDuo™ meter is turned off. |
|
• Turn your InDuo™ meter over and locate the |
|
battery compartment. |
|
• Open the battery door on the back of the meter a. |
|
• Remove the old battery. Insert one 3.0 V (#2032 or |
|
equivalent) lithium battery, making sure the |
|
positive ( + ) side of the battery is facing up b. | a |
• Slide the battery door closed. |
|
• Replacing the meter battery does not affect test |
|
results already stored in the InDuo™ meter |
|
memory. However, the time, date and unit of |
|
measurement settings may need to be updated. |
|
• After replacing the battery, turn the meter on by |
|
inserting a test strip or pressing the ˛ button. |
|
If the meter is in setting mode, confirm that the |
|
time, time format, date, and most importantly, the | b |
unit of measurement are set correctly. If they are |
|
not, use the ˛ and Ñ buttons to reset the meter |
|
before testing. See setting the meter, page 5. |
