CARING FOR YOUR InDuo™ SYSTEM 61

Power supply

Your InDuo™ System is powered by batteries making it portable and self-contained. Your InDuo™ comes with 2 battery systems already installed:

The meter battery provides you with enough power to perform approximately 1000 blood glucose or control solution tests. When the meter battery expires, it is easily replaced using a

3.0 V (#2032 or equivalent) lithium battery.

Replaceable battery

• To ensure quality and safety the insulin doser battery cannot be replaced. It has an extended life that allows it to operate for approximately 5 years from the manufacturing date printed on the carton label. When the insulin doser battery is due to expire, the insulin doser display will begin flashing (see page 64) and your InDuo™ insulin doser should then be replaced within 30 days.

Non-replaceable battery
