SETTING METER OPTIONS

You can customize your ONE TOUCH® Profile® Meter by changing various option settings to meet your needs. The options mode allows you to view or change numerous meter features. In all, you can change, or in some cases turn off, 11 features of the ONE TOUCH Profile Meter, including:

Beep Prompts (“beeps”)

Time

Date

Insulin Prompt

Event Averaging

Insulin Programming

Display Language

Time Format

Date Format

Unit of Measure

Decimal Separator

Entering and Using the Options Mode

To enter the options mode, start with your meter turned off. Press and hold the on/off button for about three sec- onds until all segments of the display appear and begin to flash. Release the on/off button. The following screens will appear:
