3.12Entering your local area code

Telephone numbers must always be stored in mobile phones with the dialling code. If these numbers are then transferred to your telephone via the SIM card, the dialling code can of course be omitted when making local calls. For this purpose the telephone must know your local dialling code.

A. Please follow the instructions:

 

Display shows:

 

 

 

Press the MENU button once.

 

Add entry

 

 

 

Turn the Jog dial as far as the “Settings” message

 

Settings

 

 

 

Confirm with YES.

 

Clock

 

 

 

Turn the Jog dial until the “City code” message appears in

the display.

 

 

 

 

 

Confirm with YES.

Note: A local dialling code already entered will not be

 

 

shown in the display.

 

 

 

 

 

Now enter your own local dialling code without the zero.

 

e.g. 2

 

 

 

Confirm with YES.

To exit programming mode, press the NO button twice.
