3.14Outside Line Code on a PBX (business users only)

If you have connected your telephone to a PBX, you may need to dial a particular number (e.g. “9” or “0”) in order to get dial tone for an outside line. If you have transferred the telephone numbers from your SIM card to your telephone, these telephone numbers will be automatically prefixed by the outside line code when dialling. To enable this you must program the outside line code necessary for your PBX.

A. Please follow the instructions:

Press the MENU button once.

Turn the Jog dial until the “Settings” message appears in the display

Confirm with YES.

Turn the Jog dial until the “PBX prefix” message appears in the display.

Confirm with YES.

Note: codes already entered will not be shown in the display.

Now enter your own outside line code.

Confirm with YES.

To exit programming mode, press the NO button twice.

Display shows:

Add entry

Settings

Clock

PBX prefix

Number:

e.g. “0”

Stored – PBX prefix

Note: If you want to delete an outside line code already stored, do not enter a number when programming and confirm the blank display.
