SELECTING THE CHANNEL

The phone has 20 channels. If the call disconnects or you experience difficulty hearing the conversation, press CH/DEL on the handset to select a different channel. Scanning appears as your phone searches for a clear channel.

ADJUSTING THE

HANDSETS VOLUME

To adjust the volume of the sound you hear through the handset during a call, press VOL/ or VOL/ on the handset until you obtain the desired volume level. Volume Maximum, Volume High, Volume Medium, or Volume Low appears on the handset display. Once you set the volume level, the setting is maintained even after you hang up the phone. Ô

USING REDIAL

You can quickly dial the last number you dialed. Lift the handset and press PAUSE/REDIAL, then TALK/FLASH. The phone dials the number. Ô

Adjusting the Handset’s Volume

When you press VOL/ while the volume is maximum or VOL/ while the volume is low, the setting does not change. The phone sounds three short beeps.

Using Redial

You can also press

PAUSE/REDIAL after pressing TALK/

FLASH.

The redial memory holds up to 32 digits, so you can redial long-distance as well as local numbers.

The redial memory also holds pause entries (see “Entering a Pause” on Page 28).
