OPERATION

The handset window has plastic film on it to protect it during shipment. Carefully peel off the film before using your phone.

MAKING AND RECEIVING CALLS

To make a call, lift the handset and press TALK/FLASH. Talk and the current volume setting appear on the handset’s display, and the CHARGE/IN USE indicator on the base lights. Dial the number. The number appears on the handset as you dial, then the call’s elapsed time appears. To end a call, place the handset on the base or press END.

You can also dial the number before you press TALK/FLASH. If you make a mistake, press CH/DEL until the incorrect entry is erased, then enter the correct number. To delete the entire number, hold down CH/DEL.

When you receive a call, Incoming Call appears. To answer the call, lift the handset and press TALK/FLASH. If Auto Talk is on, just lift the handset. If the handset is away from the base, press TALK/FLASH, any number, / TONE/ , or #/ . Talk appears on the handset’s display. To end a call, place the handset on the base or press END.
