4.Position the mounting bracket with the narrow end on top. Route the short modular cord through the cen- ter hole of the bracket, and insert the two tabs at the top of the bracket into the matching slots on the base’s back, near the jacks.

5.Press the two tabs at the bottom of the bracket into the matching slots on the back of the base to lock the bracket into place.

6.Plug the modular cord’s other end into the wall plate’s modular phone line jack.

7.Align the keyhole slots on the bracket with the studs on the wall plate, then slide the base downward to secure it.
