Long Distance calls and Area Code Setting/ Cancellation

When a long distance call has been set, ¨1¨ appears in the display.

Storing Caller ID Messages in Memory dialog

You cannot store a Caller ID message if no phone number appears in the message.

If a message has already been stored in the selected memory number location, a confirmation screen is displayed.

Press VOL ekey to select ¨Yes¨. Press SELECT to overwrite. The display returns to the Caller ID list.

Long Distance calls and Area Code Setting/Cancellation

Pressing 1 while the incoming Caller ID information is displayed (in step 1) will place the prefix ¨1¨ in the display to set up for a long distance call. Pressing 3 will set or cancel an area code setting. Ô

Storing Caller ID messages in Memory dialing

Messages shown in the Caller ID list can be stored in memory dialing. Using the incoming call information (i.e., Caller ID list), the phone number of the party on the Caller ID list can be stored in memory.Ô

1.Press CID/MENU.

Select the phone number to be stored from the Caller ID list by pressing VOL eor VOL dkeys.

2.Press MEM.

3.Press VOL eor VOL dkeys or enter a number (01 - 20) to select the memory location to be stored. Ô

4.Press SELECT.

You hear a confirmation tone, and the number is stored in memory. The display returns to the Caller ID list.
