Convenient and secure telephone communication
Locking your telephone
You can lock your Profiset 30isdn against possible unau- thorized use:
●Total lock, only allows you to dial a preset direct station selection number (Programming direct station selection: ➔ page 26).
Incoming calls are permitted.
●Partial lock, only allows you to dial with the Destina- tion dialling keys (Programming the destination dialling keys: ➔ page 25; Dialling call numbers using Destination dialling keys: ➔ page 10) and the Speed dialling keys (Programming the Speed dialling keys: ➔ page 25; Dialling call numbers using the Speed dialling key: ➔ page 11).
Incoming calls are permitted.

Enter the password.
Enter the code “1“ for total lock, “2“ for partial lock or “0“ for deactivating the lock.
Press the Locking key or Programming key.
The telephone is locked or the lock is deactivated.
An activated lock (total or partial lock) is indicated via the symbol J on the display.
The telephone can only be locked if the pass- word is not set to 0000 (Defining the password: ➔ page 28).
If the password is set to 0000 and the telephone was previously locked the lock is deactivated then.
