b

Instead of DTMF signalling, you can transmit keypad infor- mation elements (IE) e.g. to activate features on PBXs or certain ISDN services in several countries (page 33:

Signalling methods to control the ISDN services).

Since DTMF signalling is set by default for your telephone, it must first be deactivated.

A call is in progress.

Press the Programming key, the Asterisk key and again the Programming key.

Keypad signalling is activated for the current call. The key- pad digits entered appear on the display preceded by the symbol ”_ “.

Press the Programming key, the Asterisk key and the Pro- gramming key again to return to DTMF signalling.

Replace the handset to reactivate DTMF signalling.
