52 Using additional handsets

Transferring calls

You can transfer an external call to the other handset.

During an external call:

1.Press and the number of the other handset. Your caller is put on hold. The other handset will ring.

2.When the handset answers, press to transfer the call.

If the other handset does not answer, press to talk to the caller again.

3-Way conference call

During an external call you can invite another handset to join the conversation.

During your call:

1.Press . Your external caller is put on hold. The display shows Handset: then enter the handset number you want to call (e.g.15).

2.When the receiving handset answers, press and hold the for approximately 2 seconds to begin the conference call.

3.Press on either handset to leave the conference call. The second handset will remain connected to the

external caller.
