12 Getting to know your phone

Select the option displayed on screen by pressing the button underneath it.

For example, to open the main menu select Menu by pressing the option button below it, as shown.

Navigating the menus and selecting options

Your BT Freestyle 7150 has a menu system which is easy to use. Each menu leads to a list of options. Have a look at the menu map on page 14.

•Open the main menu by pressing the button below the MENU option shown on screen.

•Now use the or buttons to scroll up and down through the main menu. When the option or sub-menu you want is displayed, press OK to select to it.

For example, to adjust the handset ringer melody for external calls:

1.Press MENU to open the main menu.

2.Press to scroll down to the HANDSET SETTINGS menu and press OK. The display shows the first item which is

RINGER MELODY.

2.Press OK. Display highlights EXTERNAL. Scroll or to choose either EXTERNAL or INTERNAL and press OK.

The current melody is displayed and played.

3.Scroll or to the melody you want and press OK.
