This can be turned off if you want, as follows:

1.Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or

VOL- to select ANS. MACHINE.

2.Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or

VOL- to select BS SCREENING.

3.Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or VOL- to turn on/off call screening.

4.Press MENU (Base) to save.

3.19.6 Deleting all old messages

1.Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or

VOL- to select ANS. MACHINE.

2.Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or VOL- to select DEL ALL OLD.

3.Press MENU (Base) and display will show

DELETE ALL?.

4.Press MENU (Base) to confirm.

3.19.7 Remote access

Remote access allows you to operate your answering machine and listen to your messages by calling your phone from another phone.

Turn the remote access on/off

1.Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or

VOL- to select ANS. MACHINE.

2.Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or

VOL- to select REMOTE ACC..

3.Press MENU (Base) to select ON or OFF.

4.Press MENU (Base) to confirm.

To remote access your answering system from external line, you need to key in 4-digit security code at the external terminal (default code is 0000).
