4. Using the phone

4.1Making a call

1.Enter the phone number and then press /FLASH or /SPEAKER to dial the phone number.

4.2Speed dialing

1.In idle mode, press and hold a key from / /1 to WXYZ/9 until the number is displayed and dialed.

4.3Answering a call

1.Press /FLASH or /SPEAKER to answer the incoming call.

4.4Ending a call

1.During a call, press /BACK or put the handset on the base.

4.5Adjusting volume

1.During a call, press VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to adjust the volume.

Using the phone

4.6Muting a call

1.During a call, press /MUTE to mute the microphone, so that you can talk to someone else in the room without your caller hearing you.

2.Press /MUTE again to unmute.

4.7Dialing from the redial list

1.In idle mode, press REDIAL/VOL- and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to scroll and select an entry you want to dial.

2.Press /FLASH or /SPEAKER to dial the number.

4.8Dialing from the calls list

1.Press CID then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select a desired call list entry,

2.Press /FLASH or /SPEAKER to dial the number.

4.9Adding an entry to the phonebook

1.Press .

2.Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to scroll and select ADD.
