Setting Up the Answering Machine
If you subscribe to Caller ID service with your telephone company, the date and time automatically sets with the first incoming call. (You must set the year manually.) If you do not subscribe to the service, set the time for the answering machine and handsets manually.
Setting the Date and Time
1 Press TIME. The system announces the current setting.
2 Press TIME.
3 | Press CHANGE until you hear the correct setting. |

Mailboxes and Announcements
Your new answering system has three voice mailboxes that you can assign to different people. Callers with touch tone dialing can select from the boxes by pressing 1, 2, or 3. If a caller does not specify a mailbox, the message is automatically recorded in mailbox 1.
Announcement Options
You can record your own Outgoing Message (OGM) or use the prerecorded OGM. A second OGM option allows you to give an announcement without accepting
