Setting the Answering Machine Features

1Press MENU until the desired feature is announced.

2Press CHANGE until the desired setting is announced.

3Press TIME to save selection.

4Press MENU to move to the next feature, or a mailbox button to exit.

Change Remote		Allows remote access to
Access Code		system. Select any two-digit
		code from 40 to 99. Default
		code is 50. Press and hold
	DOCUMENT
		CHANGE to advance by
		increments of 10.
Change Message		Base nit beeps every 10	Using
Alert		seconds to announce new
		messages. Default setting
		is off.	Answering Machine
Change Announce		Plays announcement, but	the
Only		does not take messages.
		Default setting is on.
Change Base		Turn ringer for Base Unit on
Ringer		or off. Default setting is on.
Change Number of		Select number of rings
Rings (2, 4, 6, Toll		allowed before system
Saver)		answers call. In Toll Saver
		mode, system answers after
		two rings when there is a new
		message, four when there are
		no messages. Default setting
		is four rings.
