Selecting a Cellular System

Your Service Provider configures the System Mode feature when you receive a cellular phone number. Use this feature to select the type of cellular system your phone will access.

1.Follow steps 1-2-3 above to select System Mode.

Standard Mode

 

 

Your phone first seeks a home type system,

 

then a non-home type system

 

If home is non-wireline (type A)

Std AB

If home is wireline (type B)

Std BA

 

 

Reversed Preference Mode

 

Your phone first seeks a non-home type system,

 

then a home type system. (May be useful in

 

fringe areas or certain roaming situations.)

 

If home is non-wireline (type A)

Scan BA

If home is wireline (type B)

Scan AB

 

 

Home Only Mode

 

The phone will not operate outside its home

The phone will operate only within nonwireline
