Making calls

Answering a call

Your telephone rings (ringer) and the status LED flash- es.

Press the talk key

Simply remove the handset from the base station (fac- tory setting: Auto talk, see page 37).

Displaying telephone numbers (CLIP)

The network provider must support the calling line identification (CLIP) and the telephone number must have been transmitted. Contact your network provider.

An incoming call is displayed as follows (example):

If the telephone number or the name is not displayed, you see:

If you have not requested CLIP.

CLIP Calling Line Identification Presentation = Displaying the caller's telephone number
