Handset does not ring | • Make sure the RINGER switch on the handset is turned |

conversation | volume to the desired listening level. |

noise, or fading in and out | • Is handset out of range? Move closer to the base. |

| • Charge handset battery. |
| • Make sure base is not plugged into an outlet with |
| another household appliance. |

Battery will not hold a | • Be sure you are sufficiently charging the battery. |
charge or is fully charged | When the battery has been charged for 12 hours, |
and the phone displays | you can expect approximately 6 hours of talk time. |
RECHARGE | • Check to be sure battery contacts on both the handset |
| and the base are making contact and are clean; free of |
| dirt or lint. |
| • When the handset is placed in the base, check that the |
| base CHARGE light is on. |
| • Replace battery. |
